Their devices offer pet owners and vets an unprecedented ability to monitor the health of their animals – from anywhere in the world. The ‘chip’ monitors biological parameters in real time, giving owners a unique insight into their pet’s health via a smartphone app. It reports an animal’s key health information, along with stress, location and activity. Proprietary AI is then used to generate alerts and advice customised to your pet.
VetChip’s technology is still several years away from general commercial release in pet animals, however their technology is already being used to improve the lives of working dogs and horses around the world.
